Tehran, Oct 30, IRNA � Visiting Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi held talks with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif here on Sunday.


During the visit, the ways for expansion of all-out mutual cooperation were discussed.

Back on Feb 20, Zarif in a joint press conference attended by his Omani counterpart Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah described Iran-Oman relations as exemplary, saying Tehran and Muscat are keen to expand relations in various fields to contribute to regional and international peace and security.

Zarif underscored that Tehran considers no limits to the expansion of relations with Muscat in all sectors.

�Oman is a good and reliable partner for the Islamic Republic of Iran and we will maintain these relations in all fields, which will be beneficial to the region and international peace and security,� the Iranian minister said.
