TEHRAN, Oct 25 (Shana) Managing director of Iran's Oil Industries' Engineering and Construction (OIEC) Behzad Mohammadi says his company has so far partaken in 3 tenders in Oman and Iraq and its credentials have been approved to develop an oil field in Iraq.

He said the company has passes qualifications for bidding to develop one of Iran's oilfields where other international companies are also attending.

The CEO said his company has also bid for joint venture contracts in Oman too and the company's proposals are being studies for their technical and financial feasibility.

OIEC is one of the 11 Iranian E&P companies entrusted by the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) as Iranian partners for incoming foreign companies in developing oil and gas projects in Iran.

Mohammadi said the company is currently getting advice from a Germany advisor, whose name he declined to disclose, for restructuring the OIEC for better performance in exploration and production projects.

"We are planning to cooperate with a foreign partner in the first step under the revised model of oil contracts so that we can acquire the latest management savvy and knowledge from them," he said.
