Araqchi off to Tashkent to attend OIC meeting

Tehran, Oct 17, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Abbas Araqchi left Tehran for Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on Monday afternoon to attend the 43rd foreign ministerial meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif could not attend the OIC meeting for tight schedules. So, Araqchi led the Iranian delegation to Tashkent meeting.

With 57 member states from five different continents, OIC is the large inter-governmental organization after the United Nations and the Non-Aligned Movement.
