Iran embassy in Turkey urges people to avoid public areas

TEHRAN (ISNA) Irans embassy in Ankara urged Iranians traveling to Turkey not to attend the crowded and insecure areas in the country.




The warning statement was released by the embassy after two Iranian tourists, aged 40 and 29, were injured with knife inside a shop in Istanbul on September 29. The two tourists were taken to the nearest hospital where one of them died despite the full efforts.


The warning called on all Iranians to be more cautious and aware while staying in Turkey. Irans embassy also urged people to heed the security warnings released by Turkish authorities.
