Iran, Switzerland sign MoU on nuclear safety

Vienna, Sept 28, IRNA – Head of Iran Nuclear Regulatory Authority Naser Rastkhah and Director General of the Swiss Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate Hans Wanner signed a Memorandum of Understanding on civil nuclear safety on Tuesday.

Speaking to reporters at the end of inking the nuclear document, Rastkhah said that the cooperation document shows improvement of engagement between Iran and the world.

The cooperation document was offered by Switzerland after the nuclear deal reached between Iran and G5+1 and will be an introduction for cooperation on safety of civil nuclear deal between Tehran and Bern.

According to the reports, Iran Nuclear Regulatory Authority has showed interest in receiving assistance from Swiss Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate in case of safety culture, construction of the necessary regulatory framework and management systems.
