Tehran, Sept 26, IRNA - The Omani Products Exhibition (OPEX) inaugurated in Tehran International Permanent Exhibition on Monday.

The exhibition was inaugurated in a ceremony attended by Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh and Omani Minister of Commerce and Industry Ali bin Masoud al Sunaidy.

Latest Omani foodstuff, converted materials, oil, gas, petrochemical and medical industries are putting on display during the five-day event currently underway in Tehran's Milad Tower.

Several expert meetings will also be held on the sidelines of the exhibition which is participated by 80 companies from Oman.

At least, seven Omani economic delegation, comprising 57 companies, visited Iran in 2015.

The current Iran-Oman trade transactions hit one billion dollar. The figure was $200 million in 2006.
