Tehran, Sept 25, IRNA � Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said on Sunday that the Sixth Five-Year Economic, Cultural and Social Development Plan should envisage foreign investment.


Larijani made the remarks in a meeting with the members of development commission of Majlis.

Assigning the projects and regulating foreign investments would help remove hurdles on the path of developments, he said.

Larijani recommended the Commission in charge of drawing up the Sixth Five-Year Economic, Cultural and Social Development Plan to include foreign investments in the five-year budget plan to tackle the basic needs of the nation.

Mismanagement in many parts has created lots of shortcomings for the country, Larijani said.

'We should change the country's current status through proper use of rationality,' he said.
