“To me one is death by gunshot wound and the other one is death by strangulation,” Stein said in an interview for Politico’s “Off Message” podcast.
The Green Party nominee often slams both Clinton and Trump in an attempt to cast herself as an alternative to the two major party’s nominees.
Stein said during the podcast she thinks Trump has many “problems,” noting the GOP nominee appears to often change his mind.
“The guy has a lot of problems — physical, mental, emotional, cognitive,” Stein said of Trump.
“It’s hard to, you know, to think too hard about anything Donald Trump says because he will change his mind in the next hour, if not the next day, or whatever,” she added.
Stein is currently polling at 3.1 percent, according to the RealClearPolitics average of polls. She was not invited to take part in the first presidential debate later this month due to those numbers.
