Zarif meets Pakistani counterpart on NAM sidelines

Tehran, Sept 16, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif conferred with his Pakistani counterpart Sartaj Aziz on bilateral ties on the sidelines of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Venezuela on Friday evening.

The Iranian and Pakistani foreign ministers discussed bilateral ties, regional developments and the ways to strengthen cooperation in the international organizations.

The 17th NAM Summit is slated for September 17-18 in Venezuela’s Margarita Island.

President Hassan Rouhani will brief the audience on Iran’s 4-year performance as head of 16th tenure of NAM.
