Dy FM: Terrorist advocates to face consequences

Moscow, Sept 15, IRNA Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Jaberi Ansari said on Thursday that the advocates of terrorism will face the consequences of instrumental use of terrorism.


Jaberi Ansari made the remark speaking during a press conference in Moscow at the end of a three-day visit to the Russian capital which was aimed at conferring with top-ranking Russian officials over the crises across the region.

He said that given the graveness of the crises in the Middle East, consultations between Iran and Russia are needed more than ever.

He said that during is meeting with his Russian counterpart Michael Bogdanov, they had discussed the situation in Syria, Bahrain, Yemen, Iraq, Palestine and Libya.

Iran believes that diplomatic dialogue is the only way out of the current crises in the Middle East, the official said.

He reiterated that Iran supports negotiating an end to the crises across the region and will continue to do so in the future.

Referring to terrorism as another threat facing the world, Jaberi Ansari called for further coordination between Tehran and Moscow to fight terrorism.
