Sari, Sept 8, IRNA � Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan underlined the need for the consensus among the revolutionary forces to save the country from the enemies' threats.

'The secret of passing from the enemies' numerous plots is to have consensus,' Brigadier General Dehqan said on Thursday, addressing a ceremony here.

He reiterated that today the enemy has entered the scene with numerous threats and deceptions, and said, 'By obeying the Leader of the Islamic Revolution (Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei) and taking model from the martyrs' lifestyle we can foil such plots.'

The defense minister underscored that the enemies' hostilities have not been reduced, and said, 'On the contrary their animosity has even increased as compared with the past because of the Iranian nation's resistance and standing up against them.'

Brigadier General Dehqan said that the enemy has always tried to wage war against Iran by utilizing new tools and hatching plots, adding, 'The enemies have used pretexts such as nuclear energy, human rights, ethnical differences, elections and so on to confront us.'
