Tehran, Sept 6, IRNA � Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani met here Tuesday with the visiting French National Assembly President Claude Bartolone.


The talks in the meeting focused on the latest situation of relations between the two countries' parliaments.

The two also discussed the ways to promote international, regional and bilateral cooperation.

After the meeting, the two officials will attend a joint press briefing.

Bartolone arrived in Tehran early on Tuesday.

During his stay in Tehran that will end on Friday, Bartolone is planned to meet with the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani.
