Tehran, Sept 4, IRNA � Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli held talks with visiting United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Stephen O'Brien here on Sunday.


The ways for fostering mutual cooperation and joint collaboration on humanitarian aids also were discussed during the meeting.

Having arrived in Tehran on Sunday morning, O�Brien has so far held talks with several Iranian officials on fostering humanitarian cooperation in the region.

Meanwhile, in a separate meeting on Sunday evening (Sept 3), the interior minister held talks with his Omani counterpart Hamoud bin Faisal al Busaidi on issues of mutual interest as well as ways to promote relations in economic, trade and security areas.
