Tehran, Aug 26, IRNA - Tehran interim Friday Prayers Leader, Hojjatoleslam Kazem Seddiqi said on Friday that Saudi government suffered a humiliating defeat by formation of political council in Yemen.

Seddiqi made the remarks in his second sermon of Friday Prayers.

He said the developments should be regarded as miracle made by resistance to terrorism which engulfed the region.

'We are witnessing annihilation of terrorists in Syria, despite support of those backing sedition in the region.'

Seddiqi expressed deep concern about deterioration of humanitarian situation in Yemen caused by Saudi crimes against humanity and aggression on the sovereign state of Yemen, Saudi indiscriminate bombardment of residential areas in Yemen, saying that it is about two years that the Saudi government kills people, bombards schools, hospitals and the infrastructures in Yemen but gained nothing.

Formation of political council in Yemen in coalition with Hezbollah and another group wining supports of millions of people in Yemen is regarded as a new fiasco for the Saudis losing their hopes, he said.

As resistance bear fruits in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the same will happen in Syria and in Yemen, the country is gaining independence while witnessing annihilation of coalition of war crminals and child killing Saudi government and its supporters, Seddiqi said.

On current development in Syria, he said all witnessed that Syria was on the verge of collapse and its president was about to leave and the global Zionist front had prepared itself to set a much stronger blow to them but the miracle of resistance changed scene of developments in favor of Syrian nation, he said.

For many years the Saudi Arabia spends huge sum of money, winning propaganda supports of the west and the have mobilized forces with sophisticated weapons from over eighty countries but all failed against the resistance movement to terrorism, he said.

Countdown for annihilation of Takfiri front in the region has started and the people who shared in defending holy shrines will find the chance to pray to God at the holy places in the future, he said.
