How Western world see Muslims?

Alwaght- The researches show that in the US a decade before the 9/11 over 160 Muslims in the country were suspected of terrorist activities which is just one percent of the violent actions taking place annually in the US.

The US government disregarded the fact that following 9/11 the Muslim countries helped the American security and government officials foil almost two terrorist attacks out of every five assaults that were planned by Al-Qaeda terrorist group. At the same time, the guidance of the Muslim community of the country has provided the US government with the largest database for detection and thwarting the terrorist assaults. However, the US administration focused on the published figures and established a comprehensive system for media coverage of activities of the American Muslim suspects. It promoted the issue as a matter of national security and branded it more serious and prevalent than it appeared to be.

Islamophobia has not only affected a small community of the Muslims in a specific part of the world but also the researches across the world find that the public opinion's respect, tolerance, and contacts with the Muslims have received a great deal of negative effects. The researches focus on views and thoughts of people of different countries, regions, and communities. They aims at tracking the consistent and unanimous global mechanisms that inject Islamophobia in the Western world.

Respectful and fair behavior

Globally, many of the Muslims have asserted that they felt that they were not respected in the Western world. This is shared by Muslims in many Western countries. For example, the results of researches show that 52 percent of the Americans and 48 percent of the Canadians are disrespecting the Muslims. Smaller percentages are also reported in France, Germany, Italy, and Britain.

Different factors including the cultural and religious differences and political interests affect the relations between the Muslims and Western communities. The Islamophobia leaves influences on the Western world in the form of aversion to the politics or to the Muslims' culture or their religiousness. The religion and political interests in West Asia, North Africa, the US, and Canada are said to be the major sources of tension. The countries of Sahara Desert in Africa maintain that the key force that fans tensions between the West and Islam is religion while the European countries put the blame on political interests.
