Judiciary Chief: MKO's crimes not to be wiped out

Tehran, Aug 15, IRNA Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani said on Monday that the crimes of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO) terrorist group would not be wiped out.

Addressing a meeting with senior judiciary officials, Ayatollah Larijani criticized 'mysterious and deplorable' mischief of certain foreign media and siding of certain groups of people and the wings inside the country with the western media in clearing the MKO crimes.

'The crimes of the dirty natured MKO will never be cleansed and regrettably, certain bodies broadcast audio files, thus providing western media with a pretext.'

Referring to the MKO crimes in martyring more than 17,000 people and officials of the country, Ayatollah Larijani said, 'For years, the MKO used the worst and most violent methods in assassinating the revered dignitaries and people, not discriminating the ordinary people in the crimes.'

He went on to say that at their own times, the MKO were times worse than Daesh (the ISIS terrorist group).

'The western states and their regional allies, invited the MKO to France and held seminars, trying to support them. They should, however, know that the Judiciary acts authoritatively and any move to distort public opinion under such security cases will be absolutely judicially prosecuted,' Ayatollah Amoli Larijani concluded.
