Iran’s official underlines importance of cyberspace in world developments

August 10, The Iran Project – An Iranian cultural official stresses the importance of cyberspace, urging its use in managing the world’s developments.

Attending the gathering of Islamic Revolution cyberspace activists on Wednesday, Dr. Hamidreza Moqaddamfar, a senior cultural official, referred to the significance of supreme leader’s letter to the youth in Europe and North America asking them to study about the true Islam and what it means to be a true Muslim.

The enemies are trying to take advantage of the religious differences in the Islamic world, Dr. Moqaddamfar, who supervises a working group responsible for disseminating a letter to the Western youth written by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, said, adding we should use all cyberspace capacities to show the real image of Islam to the world.

He went on to say that Iran’s supreme leader referred earlier to a historic turn and that the world is moving towards the true Islam, noting that we should benefit from this historic turn and introduce the true Islam.

Ayatollah Khamenei in January 2015 in a letter introduced the true image of Islam to youths in Europe and North America, and elaborated on the reasons behind the West’s attempts to spread Islamophobia.

The Leader wrote his second letter to the youth in the West on November 29, following a series of terrorist attacks in Paris.

In that letter, the Leader highlighted that it is only the “youth , who by learning lessons from today’s hardships, will be able to find new solutions for building the future, and block off-roads which have led the West to this current position.”
