Tehran, July 18, IRNA – The MKO terrorist group demised years ago and enemies are not able to revive them by attending in their meeting, Minister of Intelligence Hojjatoleslam Mahmoud Alavi said on Sunday.

He made the remarks in a meeting with people of Eslamabad city in western province of Kermanshah.

The Intelligence Ministry has a duty to make a peaceful environment for the people all over the country, the official said.

He noted that the country belongs to all ethnic and religious groups including Shia and Sunni Muslims and also all political groups including the moderates, reformists and principalists.

Despite efforts by the enemies trying to sabotage stability, security has been guaranteed all across the country, Alavi added.

He said that enemies are using all the means at their disposal to destabilize Iran and as a last effort they have resorted to MKO terrorists, though this time they are playing with an out-of-the-game card.

The intelligence minister underlined that the MKO died years ago and they cannot get back into the scene by such desperate efforts of the Islamic Republic enemies.

He praised co-existence of all diverse ethnic and political groups in the country.
