TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran and Bulgaria called for mutual cooperation in various sectors of peaceful nuclear energy.




Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali-Akbar Salehi, Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev, and Energy Minister Temenuzhka Petkova met in Tehran.


�During the meeting, Salehi welcomed exchanging experiences on scientific and academic cooperation between the two countries.


Tomislav Donchev, for his part, highlighted his country�s capability in peaceful nuclear energy, and said the two countries can work in waste management, decommissioning, boosting power plant�s lifespan, and cooperation between Bulgarian Academy of Science and relevant research centers in Iran.
