Iraq seeks complete destruction of terrorists

TEHRAN, Jul. 11 (MNA) Head of Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq Ammar al-Hakim said that Iraq seeks expansion of ties with Iran, adding Iran and Iraq friendship is unbreakable.


Ammar al-Hakim made the remarks among reporters, at the end of his 1-day visit to Qom on Sunday.

Pointing to the liberation of Fallujah, Iraqi official said this is a great victory for the Iraqi forces and a new stage in the fight against terrorists.

Ammar al-Hakim underlined in the near future large operations will be conducted to liberate Mosul which is in fact essential for the complete destruction of ISIL terrorist group.

Today security problems in Iraq and also in the region has hurt us, however, we are determined to identify and eliminate sources of terrorism in Iraq, he noted.

ISCI head said we hope the political process in Iraq would follow progress with the complete disappearance of terrorist and Takfiris.
