Tehran, July 5, IRNA � Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Shamkhani stressed the ceaseless implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

He made the remarks here on Tuesday while addressing a closed-door meeting of the Iranian parliament during which he briefed the Majlis members on the latest political, defense and security developments.

He stressed the need for implementation of the JCPOA without letting the US taking Iran�s revolutionary values as hostages.

He outlined the most important elements of threat to Iran and the role of ultra-regional forces in this regard and said Iran�s control over political and security domains has foiled the attempts of such countries.

He expressed concern over the growth of destabilizing factors in the region and said enhancing political, economic and defense might as well as fostering national unity was Iran�s strategic policy to manage the increasing threats.

He further touched upon the present political and security situation in Iraq and, referring to Syria, said that military coordination among Iran, Syria and Russia is the most determining factor influencing the conditions there.
