Tehran, June 30, IRNA � Defenders of the holy shrines are definitely victorious over their Takfiri and Zionist enemies, Minister of Defense Hossein Dehqan said on Wednesday.

He made the remarks in a ceremony held in honor of the families of the martyrs who lost their lives defending the holy shrines.

Liberation of the Quds is the main cause followed by martyrs and the defenders of holy shrines, the defense minister said.

Referring to the ongoing conspiracies to deviate the public opinion from the Zionist threats, the Iranian minister said that certain Islamic states which should pursue the rights of the Palestinian people are furthering ties with the Zionist regime.

The Takfiri terrorist groups are damaging the capabilities of the Islamic countries in a proxy war lead by the United States, Israel and certain regional states, he said.

Dehqan hailed the young people from Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen and Afghanistan who are defending the holy shrines and the people of Syria and Iraq.

The defenders of the holy shrines will undoubtedly win over enemies, he said.
