TEHRAN, June 26 (Shana) -- The Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Company (IOEC)'s managing director said the company is in talks with foreign partners for fulfillment of its energy projects in Iran.

Abolghasem Rahmani said IOEC welcomes cooperation with foreign developers in fulfillment of oil and gas projects in Iran.

He said previously offshore platforms had to be built by foreign companies but Iranian manufacturers have developed the required skills to manufacture the structures.
Rahmani said IOEC is bracing to form up joint ventures with foreign companies for carrying out projects in oil and gas infrastructure.

He said the company will finish construction of 5 offshore platforms to be installed over different phases of supergiant South Pars Gas Field.
