TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif appointed Bahram Qassemi as new Foreign Ministry Spokesman.

Qassemi is also new Head of Public Diplomacy and Media Center of Iranian Foreign Ministry.

Qassemi used to serve as Iranian ambassador to Ireland, Italy and Spain.

He also served as Head of Commonwealth Department and Director of West Europe Department of Iranian Foreign Ministry.

He was also Deputy Head of Strategic Studies Center for International Research.

Former Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hossein Jeberi-Ansari has been appointed as Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Countries.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian who already served in the post is now advisor to Iranian foreign minister.
