Ambassador: Iran welcomes Turkish investors

Ankara, June 13, IRNA - Iran's Ambassador to Turkey Mohammad Ebrahim Taherianfard said on Monday that Iran attaches importance to partnership with Turkish private sector to go ahead with joint venture investment in Iran.


The Iranian ambassador said in an Iftar banquet with leader of Saadet Political party Mustafa Kamalak and senior members of Saadet political party.

They explored the ways to develop economic cooperation between the two countries.

Referring to religious, cultural and historical affinities between the two nations, Kamalak called for developing unity and solidarity among Islamic states mainly the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkey to serve welfare of the two nations.

Bolstering relations among the eight Islamic developing states which formed alliance in the year 2000 (D-8), promotion of unity among regional and Islamic states can help resolve many issues of the Muslim World, he said.

The two Muslim states benefiting from their facilities and potentials can broaden political, economic and cultural cooperation at regional and international levels, Taherianfard said.
