Tehran, June 14, IRNA - President Hassan Rouhani on Monday hailed the role of Iranian women in family and society, adding that the Government supports to ensure their right.


He made the remarks in a meeting with top officials active in fields of women and family affairs.

The Government will do its best to ensure women right in society and will side with them, Rouhani added.

He said that Iranian women should present themselves to the world as an example of Muslim women active in society.

The president said there is no contrast between being a good mother and in the meantime being an active member in society.

He also hailed the Iranian women achievements in various areas of science, sport and art.
