TEHRAN, June 12 (Shana) A member of the parliament lauded the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum's performance in raising the country's crude oil sale and described it as acceptable.
Speaking to Shana, Rahim Zare said the ministry has displayed a good performance in recapturing the country's oil market share and has brought the exports to two million barrels per day from only about a million back in the sanctions era.
"Recapturing Iran's share in global markets is a positive performance and Iran has been successful in the post-sanctions setting to revive its share in the market," the MP said.
He further added that development of joint oil and gas fields are regarded as bases of the economy of resistance and are highly regarded by the parliament.
The MP also said that the parliament is prepared to support development of the field by passing any motion that might be necessary.
