TEHRAN, Jun. 04 (MNA) � NUST MISIS has hosted for first time a meeting with a delegation from the Iranian leading university, K. N. Toosi University of Technology.


The parties gathered earlier this week to discuss�a�direction of cooperation between the two universities. The main�programs�of scientific and educational activities at the Iranian university are industrial engineering, materials science, IT, bioengineering, and mechatronics.

NUST MISIS presented its educational programs' main directives, highlighting materials science, nanotechnology, and electronics, as well as the university`s key scientific laboratories and research centers.

Following the meeting the�parties signed a Memorandum on Cooperation. In September 2016, in accordance with the�signed Memorandum, a pilot visit aimed at training students from�K. N.�Toosi�University of Technology�in�NUST MISIS's English language�Master`s programs in engineering�is planned.

Another area of cooperation will be training lecturers from Tehran�at�NUST MISIS to further develop joint projects.

The National University of Science and Technology MISIS is one of Russia�s most dynamically developing centers for research and education. Being among the leaders of technology education in Russia, NUST MISIS is also a large research center.
