Iran hails anniversary of South Lebanon liberation

Tehran, May 27, IRNA – Iran’s first vice president, in two separate messages released on Thursday, congratulated Lebanese prime minister and the secretary general of Hezbollah movement on the liberation anniversary of South Lebanon.

The Lebanese people, by their support for the country’s resistance movement, demonstrated that liberating the occupied lands is just possible through unity and resistance of all groups against the Zionist usurper regime, Eshaq Jahangiri said in his message to the Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam.

Jahangiri also wished the Lebanese premier and the great Lebanese people prosperity and progress.

Iran’s first vice president in a separate message to the Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah said that the historical triumph was the result of a clever management by Hezbollah top officials.

Congratulating the Hezbollah leader, Jahangiri said that the epic victory is going to go down in the modern history of Islamic and Arab countries.
