Envoy: Iran, Russia to broaden trade cooperation

Moscow, May 25, IRNA Iranian Ambassador to Russia announced that Iran and Russia have taken big steps forward and the important economic and custom documents signed by the two countries provides further facilities in this field.

With the facilities provided the two countries trade activities has been eased to some extent and the efforts in this regard will continue, Mehdi Sanaei told reporters on Wednesday.

Sanaei reiterated that Iranian and Russian banks have facilitated financial transactions between the two countries.

He underlined that Russian investors are willing to further expand their cooperation with Iranian businessmen.

Over the last several years, Iran and Russia have had vast cooperation in different fields, specially in political and economic spheres.

The two states also enjoy special positions on the international scene and have long had constant and regular consultations on key regional and global issues.
