Iran to continue military advisory services in Syria

TEHRAN, May 14 (MNA) Foreign Ministry spokesperson has said as long as foreign intervention in Syria continues, Iran will continue its military advisory services to Syrian government.

Hossein Jaberi Ansari who was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a ceremony to mark the martyrdom of Mustafa Badreddine, a top Hezbollah commander on Saturday, condemned the killing of the commander and lamented the fact that Islamic countries resources had been invested in an inaccurately conceived path; the inaccuracy serves the interests of the Zionist regime if it is not directed by the Zionist regime; Palestine should be given its due place and importance in Islamic world, he told reporters.

Hezbollah of Lebanon has invested all its prestige and resources in fighting Zionist regime; falling of its commanders and leaders will not definitely demoralize Hezbollah in its path; Palestine issue is important for Hezbollah; we hope the terrorism which claims to be Islamic, finds the Zionist regime the sole enemy of Islam, Jaberi Ansari emphasized.

On a question of a political solution to Syrian crisis, Foreign Ministry spokesperson reaffirmed the Islamic Republic of Irans principled position which advocates a political solution to the crisis, adding that Iran would continue providing military advisory services to Syrian government and army in response to their official request, as long as foreign intervention continues on the ground in Syria.
