Tehran, May 9, IRNA – Head of Foreign Ministry Office to Monitor Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) Abbas Araqchi said the task force assigned to monitor lifting of Iran sanctions is holding regular meetings.
As Araqchi said on Monday, Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs Ali Tayyebnia is in charge of arranging the meetings.
Araqchi made the remarks while speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an Iran-Japan seminar on the theme of women, peace and sustainable development that started work here today.
Asked about the fate of two billion dollars of Iran’s frozen assets seized by the US, Araqchi said the government is following up the issue through legal channels.
President Hassan Rouhani has set up a special taskforce to review that issue, said he adding that the public will receive more information about it in future.
