Iran, Poland keen to boost energy ties

TEHRAN, May 07 (Shana) Iran and Poland have signaled readiness to boost their oil and gas ties.

Polands Deputy Minister of Energy Micha? Kurtyka headed a 20-strong delegation of the representatives of renowned polish oil and energy companies, to attend a commercial conference of Iran and Poland with deputy of international affairs of Iran Chamber of Commerce.

During the conference, the two sides highlighted the need for boosting energy interactions.

Farhad Sharif, from Iran, underlined the longstanding relations between Tehran and Warsaw, saying that officials of the two countries are keen on boosting trade relations in the fields of oil, gas, nuclear energy and renewables.

We call on the officials of the two countries to facilitate issuance of visas because it is an important matter in boosting trade between them, he added.
