Creation of duality and polarity in Iran is one of the fatal blows that the enemy is seeking to deal to Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei said in a gathering of Police commanders in Tehran on Sunday.
Renewing the call for efforts to preserve unity between Iranian people and officials, the Leader said the enemies who are furious at Irans progress are trying to foment despondency, pessimism and discord in the country.
Imam Khamenei further highlighted the significance of moral security in the society, calling on the police to take the issue into serious consideration.
Addiction, felonies and violation of (social) norms threaten the societys physical, spiritual and moral security, the Leader warned.
Ayatollah Khamenei then called for drawing up detailed, robust and rational plans, in consultation with experts, to reinforce moral security in the society.
Back in February, Ayatollah Khamenei had called on Irans Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) to counter new hostile tactics aimed at undermining security in the country.
In a speech at the time, the Leader warned against the new and complicated schemes launched by the adversaries, including cyber-space plots aimed at undermining Irans security and causing destructive cultural and social effects.
