TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Parliament approved a legislation to boost the country�s defense capability with the aim of providing national security and interests.

The legislation includes 6 binding articles, such as boosting defense capability and developing and improving air defense in long, mid and short ranges.

It also includes developing and modernizing safe network connections with the aim of full establishment of control and commanding systems, making weapon systems mobile and automatic proportionate with threats.

The other items are researching, designing and producing required material to confront armed terrorist groups, arming naval forces with advanced weapons and boosting electronic war capability.
