Tehran-Moscow ties highly fruitful, developing in 2015

Moscow, April 27, IRNA – Russian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday announced that Tehran-Moscow ties were highly fruitful and on the road to progress in 2015.

In a statement regarding Moscow’s diplomacy in 2015, the foreign ministry said last year, the Iran-Russia diplomatic ties were fruitful.

It said diplomatic dialogue and relations between Iran and Russia were at the highest level, being factor of stability in the Caspian Sea, the Middle East, the Caucasus and Central Asia.

It said with elimination of sanctions against Iran as a result of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action a new horizon has opened in cooperation with the country.

It added that the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Iran to attend the Gas Exporting Countries’ Forum provided a good chance for meetings and talks with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on mutual economic cooperation and collaboration on the international level.

It added that Putin’s meeting with Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and their talks on Middle East conflict showed opinion sharing of Moscow and Tehran.
