TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran�s export of crude steel and steel products exceeded 4 million tons during the past Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2015 March 20, 2016).

"Last year, Government and private companies of Iran exported 4 million 13 thousand tons of crude steel and steel products.

The amount increased by 4 percent (3 million 845 thousand tons), said Iranian Organization Development and Renovation of Mines and Mining Industries (IMIDRO).

This figure includes export of 2 million 214 thousand tons of steel product and one million 799 thousand tons of steel ingot.

The main countries imported Iran�s steel during the period were Italy, United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Oman, China and Thailand.
