TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran and French Suez Company signed an agreement to expand cooperation in water and drought.
The agreement has been signed to transfer know-how in developing water-related technologies and managing drought.
The cooperation includes fields of implementing sample projects in water, soil, technologies, watershed, identifying profound waters among continents, remote-sensing and using isotopes in Iran to transfer technology and developing software systems to help decision making in metropolises.
They would also work in identifying fresh water resources in Persian Gulf, new technologies in desalting salty waters based on Irans geographical conditions and sample plans for rainwater harvesting, reducing evaporation, precipitation and reducing evaporation from surface water
