TEHRAN, Apr. 12 (MNA) Deputy Foreign Minister for Europe and America Affairs Majid Takht-Ravanchi said that Latin American countries, including Brazil, have special position in Iran's foreign policy.
Speaking in a meeting with Brazil Deputy Minister of External Affairs Jose Alfredo Grasa Lima here on Monday, Takht-Ravanchi underlined the opportunities for expansion of relations between Iran and Brazil.
Evaluating the trend of development of ties between Iran and Brazil as desirable, Ravanchi said the high level of exchange of delegations is an indication for willingness to develop relations in different fields of politics, economy and culture.
Jose Alfredo Grasa, who is in Iran to attend the 9th round of political consultation meeting between the two countries, hailed Iran's noticeable role and position in the region, underlining his government's will to expand all-out ties with Iran.
Describing the resumption of meeting on political consultations as a big step towards improving relations between the two countries, Grasa discussed bilateral ties and future programs as well as regional and international development with his Iranian counterpart.
