Italy premier due in Iran Tuesday

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi would visit Iran on Tuesday and would be accompanied by 120 leading economic activists and representatives of companies.

He would probably visit the historic city of Isfahan on Wednesday and would join a session to be attended by economic activists of the two countries.

So far, 750 Italian economic activists have visited Iran, he said, adding the two sides have signed initial agreements.

Italian Sace insurance company has allocated up to 5 billion euros for interactions with Iran, said Head of Iran-Italy Chamber of Commerce Ahmad Pour-Fallah.

He also said that Iran has held good talks with Italian Eni as well as Fiat.

He said that the volume of bilateral exchanges between the two countries would hit $6 billion by the next two years, and Italy would become Irans first European trade partner
