Iran, Turkey sign three documents on banking relations

Konya, Turkey, April 9, IRNA Iranian and Turkish Chambers of Commerce on Saturday signed three documents for economic cooperation and banking relations at the end of 25th joint Economic Commission held in the Turkish cities.


The Memorandum of Understanding at the end of 25th joint economic commission signed by special representative of the president for Turkish affairs and Iranian co-chairman of Tehran-Ankara joint commission Mahmoud Vaezi and representative of the Turkish government on Iran and Turkish co-chairman of the joint commission Minister of Development Cevdet Yilmaz.

The MoU was signed after 2-day intensive negotiations between the two chambers of commerce of Iran and Turkey in Ankara and Konya.

Another document related to banking cooperation and beginning of a new chapter in banking relations between Iran and Turkey in post-sanctions era, was signed by Vaezi and Yilmaz.

The third MoU was between Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture with Turkish Union of Chambers of Commerce and Goods Bourses.
