Ankara, April 7, IRNA – Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi conferred with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on Thursday.
The meeting was held behind closed doors and reporters were given a short chance to compile a pictorial report.
Vaezi, President Rouhani’s special representative in relations with Turkey, is currently in Ankara at the head of an economic delegation to attend the 25th Iran-Turkey Joint Economic Commission Meeting.
Earlier, the Iranian minister talked on the phone with Turkish Minister of Customs and Trade Bulent Tufenkci and Minister of Development Cevdet Yılmaz.
He is also scheduled to confer with the country’s Economy Minister Mustafa Elitaş and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoghlu today.
Iran-Turkey Joint Economic Commission kicked off in Ankara today.
