Tabriz, East Azarbaijan Prov., April 6, IRNA � A foreign ministry official says ground is apt for expansion of relations with Italy.

Esmail Babaie who heads the foreign ministry office in this northwestern province told provincial businessmen and trades people Wednesday evening that the warm welcome the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani received from officials during his recent trip to Rome indicated the high level of cooperation between the two countries.

He said the upcoming visit of the Italian prime minister to Iran on April 12 is another token of Rome�s great interest in boosting economic ties with Iran.

He further voiced the foreign ministry�s readiness to offer the best possible visa services to Italian businessmen.
