Rouhani: Yerevan-Baku dispute should be resolved peacefully

Tehran, April 6, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani in separate telephone calls with Azeri and Armenian presidents on Wednesday called for peaceful settlement of the territorial dispute between the two countries.

President Rouhani wrote in his Twitter that during telephone conversations with Azeri and Armenian presidents, he highlighted Iran’s capabilities in resolving regional disputes and called the issue to be resolved through peaceful means.

Azeri and Armenia forces exchanged fire in Nagorno-Karabakh region claiming lives of troops from both sides and casualties on civilians living in Karabakh.

Despite of declaration of truce, roars of artillery shells and bombardments are heard in the area causing panic for people of Karabakh.
