TEHRAN, April 3 (Shana) � Managing director of the Iranian Gas Engineering and Development Company said the company will focus on development of the industry�s infrastructure in the current year (started March 20).

Hassan Montazer-Torbati told Shana on the sidelines of annual staff meeting to mark Nowruz (New Year) on Sunday that Supreme Leader�s designating the year after resistance economy, he said it has outlined the roadmap before Iran�s gas industry.

�Moreover, the new atmosphere following the (nuclear) Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) has helped in the betterment of conditions,� he added.

Saying that the company emphasized attraction of investment and financial credits in the current year, Torbati also said that cooperation with the private sector in this regard will increase.

�In the post-JCPOA, there is the possibility to concentrate on attracting the private sector�s capital in order to take more effective steps to develop the gas industry�s infrastructure,� he said.

He anticipated that the national gas pipelines 9 and 11 will be completed using the contribution of the private sector.
