President Rouhani: Iran's oil sales to reach 2m bpd

Tehran, March 16, IRNA President Hassan Rouhani said on Wednesday that Iran's exports of oil and condensate will rise to 2 million bpd in coming days.

Speaking to reporters at the end of the last cabinet meeting in the year 1394, the president said that Iran will keep going next year in cutting inflation rate, bringing about economic boom and calming the market.

'In 1394, we experienced Iran's honor in the nuclear deal, ending the sanction, and the Feb. 26 epic (Iran national elections),' Rouhani said.

'We are on the eve of a spring when our banks and insurance companies are no longer under sanctions and we can trade with different countries,' the president said in a reference to the lifting of Western sanctions on Iran following the implementation of a nuclear deal Iran reached with world powers last July.

International investments in Iran have begun and major contracts have been signed with main world countries at different levels, Rouhani said, adding, the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) is now connected with central banks of other countries, including Switzerland, and Iran's nuclear rights are now recognized by the world.
