TEHRAN, Mar. 14 (MNA) � A hybrid solar dryer was built using fluid cycle technique at University of Tehran for the first time in Iran.


Hadi Samimi, PhD student of Mechanics of Agricultural Machinery at Aburaihan Campus, managed to design and produce hybrid solar dryer taking advantage of fluid cycle method.

The construction of the device formed the subject of Samimi�s doctoral dissertation which was accomplished under the supervision of Akbar Arab Mohammad Hosseini and guidance of Mohammad Hossein Kianmehr in seven semesters while two scientific articles have been published in credible journals on the basis of the research outcomes.

The device has been designed and built for the first time in Iran and will be able to alleviate a portion of difficulties faced in the processing of agricultural products.
