TEHRAN, March 9 (Shana) � Director General for Europe, America, and Caspian Sea Neighbors in the Ministry of Petroleum said that Poland is interested to participate in Iran�s LNG projects as well as buying crude oil.

�Polish firms have also expressed their readiness to be present in oil industry�s upstream and downstream sectors,� Hossein Esmaeili told Shana on Wednesday.
His comments were made following a meeting here on Tuesday between Deputy Petroleum Minister for International Affairs and Commerce Amir-Hossein Zamani-Nia and Poland's Deputy Development Minister Radoslaw Domagalski.

�Warsaw wants to diversify its energy resources, he added, as it is importing 90 percent of its crude oil or 400,000 barrels a day and 60 percent of gas from Russia,� Esmaeili said.
