TEHRAN, March 8 (Shana) � President of Institute for International Energy Studies (IIES) Hossein Iranmanesh said the Iranian research center will carry out joint research on latest market developments and future of the energy economy with Korea Energy Economics Institute (KEEI).

Speaking to Shana following signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Korean research institute on Tuesday, he said areas of mutual interest including future of global economy and drafting of oil contracts will be jointly studied.

�In training workshops, the focus will be on market conditions, technological developments and future energy directions,� he said about the item on joint workshops in the MoU signed with KEEI President Joo-Heon Park.

The MoU authorizes cooperation in joint projects, launching training workshops and exchange of experts and research fellows.
