Tehran, March 9, IRNA First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri said that Iran has comprehensive plans for investment in its rich oil and gas sector and is also ready to supply energy to some of the European Union member countries.
He made the comments during a meeting with the visiting Bulgarian Transport, Information Technology and Communications Minister Ivaylo Moskovski here on Wednesday.
Jahangiri also said that removal of sanctions has provided the opportunity for revival of Tehran-Sofia relations, adding that Iran has plenty attractions for foreign investors.
The Bulgarian minister welcomed expansion of ties with Iran and called for lifting the barriers on the way of bilateral trade relations.
'Iran can be the bridge between Europe and Middle East and such a corridor can be the best ground for enhanced cooperation,' he said.
